(Hierarchical
Baron &
Kenny(1986)의 방식을 이용하였다.

Influence of Income Level and Residents Participation in Gyeonggi-do on Quality of Life
Kim, Chang-jin · Won, Jun-Hee · Huh, Hun
This study was conducted to analyze the impact of residents’ participation in the
quality of life of local residents in the era of local autonomy. We tried to measure how
different the quality of life, a dependent variable, would be if the income class was an
independent variable and the user’s participation was a parameter.
As a method of analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis was carried out to
identify the influence of the income level of the Gyeonggido, the quality of life, and
the influence of the residents’ participation. The validation method was verified by
Baron & Kenny(1986) Respectively. The data were used as they released the data of the
Gyeonggi Institute’s 2016 survey of the quality of life of Gyeonggi Province. According
to the analysis, differences in income affect both social and political participation, and
the higher the income bracket, the greater the social participation, the greater the level
of political participation and the quality of life. In addition, the participation of
residents between the income class and the quality of life was used and showed
positive effects.
As a result of these studies, diverse social groups participation and activities were
enhanced to improve the quality of individual life, including the need for an targeting
strategy for encouraging citizens’ participation in future projects.
